So a month later or so, I guess the MBU people are so mystified by their own
inconsistency that they do not have any comment.

I am by no means an e-mail expert, but it would sure be nice to keep the
group name in the To header when the email is sent with the hidden names in
the bcc header. I would guess that an SMTP server might barf over a name in
the To header that was not an e-mail address, but maybe there is some way to
flag it as information only. I know that groups that I send to would like to
have some indication of who it was sent to. So for the time being I am
turning off the hide addresses option. I was only using it to save space in
the displayed and printed messages anyway rather than for anonymity.
