Actually I think OfficeX has demonstrated that while many may not see that
as incentive enough for an upgrade, many others do. Many of us want to use
OSX and get the benefits of  it and thus want/need apps that run in OSX. Now
granted, my Uni pays for my upgrades and I would be thinking much longer and
harder about upgrading with my own cash, but that is a different issue
entirely. If it were coming out of my pocket I would still be in OS9.

But I believe the sales of OfficeX have been pretty strong (not that I know,
just assuming) and while EfX does have some very nice and important
improvements, it is primarily OSX compatibility that it is selling.
