I contacted my ISP and they had this to say (which I already did): ________ Dear Richard, Thank you for contacting us. The content type is a normal peice of header information for Plain Text messages. The two lines are being displayed because the e-mail programs are looking for the next key word in the header and instead are finding the "?" and seeing that as the beginning of the text message. This part of the message header is assembled by the e-mail client itself, in this case Entourage. What you should do is check and make sure Entourage is set to actually send plain text messages, you an do this at: Edit --> Preferences --> Mail and News --> Compose. ______ So I am going to try your suggestion now, thanks and I will tell you the result. -r Yes, that's probably what it is, bad extra headers. they may not even be visible if there's a blank one, or just a carriage return (perhaps followed by some other invisible character represented by that question mark. I'd suspect a linefeed character following the carriage return.) If it can't be expunged (Additional headers are on the Option tab of Tools / Account / that account ) then delete the account and remake it without using the assistant. That should fix your problems. -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
