I have no partitions.

Nope.  All 5 are where they're supposed to be.  And, while I have only a few
scripts running (other than the preinstalled ones), I've never had trouble
with any of them.

Thanks.  I will try AS 1.6 tomorrow .  (My system is very stable these days
and I'd just as soon not upgrade to 9.2.any flavor until I'm ready to go to
OS X.)  But . . .

Remember all that fuss when people were upgrading to CarbonLib 1.3.1 and, I
think, 1.4 as well?  Well, because of that � and because I've never been
aware of any need to do so � I never upgraded CarbonLib at all.  Should I?
Could this be the problem?  If so, to what version should I upgrade, taking
into account that I plan to stay in OS 9.1 for the time being?
