Ok, that's what I did: I opened the standard schedule "Empty Deleted Items Folder", checked the checkbox "on quit" (or however it is labeled in English). The schedule deletes all items from the "deleted items" folder that are older than 0 days, and does nothing else. The check box "only when online" is not checked. I manually moved for mails (from versiontracker) to that folder. Then I quit the program and restart it: The mails are still there. This should be basic enough to be sure it's a bug, do you agree?
