Well, it would be if that happened to anyone else except you. But it
doesn't. that's exactly how almost everyone has their "Empty Deleted Items
Folder" schedule set up, and it works. That's how mine is set up, and it
works, even when I've had 1000 messages in the Deleted Items Folder. That's
how 100other people I know have it set up, and it works for them.

So - there's a problem with your set-up.

1) Does the Action in the schedule say "Delete Mail"? (in German, I guess)

2) There is no checkbox for "On Quit". It should be a "popup" menu. Is it?

3) It's possible that you imported this schedule from Entourage 2001, and
you have or had the built-in one which you may have deleted. See if you can
delete this schedule from the Schedules window, and make a brand new one wit
the same name, criteria, and actions that you want.

If this doesn't work, you'll have to use the Office Remover that's in the
Value pack, empty your trash (log out and in from Apple Menu of it doesn't
let you), re-install Office X and apply the SR-1 again. That will fix it.
Using Office Remover will not touch or remove any of your data in the
Microsoft User Data folder in your user Documents folder. Everything will be
there when you come back. You may just have to reset some of your
preferences.
