Unless you *really* care about which application your Mac recipients use to
view the JPEGs, just send the images using Base64. Their File Exchange
control panel will reassign type/creator metadata on receipt to whatever
their default is for JPEG (Usually PictureViewer). I find this preferrable
anyway. And then you don't have to worry about double attachments to Windows
users.
