Title: The dreaded mbox lock lost

Hi All,

I’ve read the FAQ that suggests turning off simultaneous commands to server might fix the “mbox lock lost problem”. I’ve tried this and it doesn’t work.

Does anyone have any other recommendations or workarounds for this problem? I recently had to switch to a Windoze machine running Eudora, and have just moved back. It’s at least 5 times slower to process the INBOX each day with Entourage, due to just about every delete causing this lost lock.

I’m running uw-IMAP; does anyone know of an IMAP server that play nicely with Entourage? What about uw-IMAP settings that might help?
