I am running Entourage X (10.1.0 with SR1 installed) on a dual-processor G4-450 with OS 10.2.1 and 512MB RAM; it shouldn't be slow at all. My database file is only about 250MB; I say only because I was under the impression that Entourage X could support a database size of several gigabytes. I just recently compacted the database, and I do that regularly as part of my backup procedures.
