Since you seem to have what would have been the "old database" there are a
couple of things you can try.

Be sure you name this database so you can find it for the process.

Get Paul Berkowitz's scripts (shareware and worth every penny). There is a
demo for a limited number of messages that you can run to see if the scripts
can retrieve your data from the corrupted database.

Export-Import Entourage X

Use the scripts, Export-Import Entourage to export everything

Then Import using scripts Export-Import Entourage

Rebuild the DB 

Be sure you have upgraded. To be sure you have the latest see the version
page on how to check:

Let us know how this goes. Other than going into the database with a text
editor for the last 60 days, that's about all I can suggest.
