I can't help but be astounded that anyone would want to have a 2.5 GB
database to begin with. It's not difficult to archive your mail, either by
creating a new identity and deleting recent mail, or through other
solutions. But the mere idea of keeping that much e-mail seems ludicrous.

At times, reading mailing lists where people talk about the size of their
databases, it sounds like they're trying to impress others...
