At least one time, I've used my Palm OS PDA (a Sony Cli) as a transfer
medium. I synced with Entourage <-> PDA. Then, using iSync, I synced my PDA
to my Apple Address Book. This succeeded quite well, and also got a copy of
my contact list onto my .mac site, where I can access it from any computer.

I do not have a lot of change in my address book, so I have not really
bothered to keep Address Book up to date. Entourage is my main address book,
and I'm happy to have Address Book reflect a _recent_ copy of it; I don't
need it to be 100% current. But, if you have a PDA, this is one method.
