I think Diane is being MORE than helpful.  While I understand your
frustration, your tone of "voice" and quickness to place blame are really
uncalled for.  You have been offered free help by some of the best minds
around and you have repaid most of them with verbal abuse.

Since there is obviously something very wrong with your hardware and/or your
software installation, I suggest you spend some money and hire a certified
computer technician who can get to the bottom of your problems.  I don't
know where in Australia you live; if you're far from a big city where such
techs are usually located, you should still be able to find someone who can
get on the phone with you and spend a couple of hours, or however long it
takes, walking you through the steps necessary to diagnose and fix your
problems.
