Am I the only one that thinks Entourage's full text searching is unacceptably slow?
It's -way- slower than Outlook on Windows. I have a 700MB email database, which is large, but not extraordinarily large, and it takes many minutes to do a full text search on my G4-400. I recently reviewed ISYS:email.search for Windows, an email database indexing product which will allow you to search an email database of virtually any size within one second. Unfortunately they don't have a Mac version, or any plans to make a Mac version. So the purpose of my email is twofold: 1) To hopefully catch the eye of someone on the Entourage development team and seed the idea of building in some indexing functionality into the next version of Entourage 2) To ask if anyone knows of any third party solutions to make search faster in Entourage.
