Jerremy, et. al., You might find Entourage Browser useful. It can archive to standard cross-app .mbox files or to individual Entourage message files. [*] The use of mbox files and any OSX indexing tool could provide a flexible, and perhaps more rapid, indexed search through thousands of messages. I use UltraFind in OS9 (because it's fast and has a sweet AS dictionary), for instance, for general disk search. (I still use Allen's FM-based archiving scripts for all list mail archiving...I'm just used to it, and my rules do it for me.) Entourage Browser is shareware ($10, for OSX). Your search engine of choice should easily provide a URL.
