I don't think that it will work without using MSN.com or Hotmail.com.
Because that's how you get to chat using MSN with the above e-mail
address...

Let me clarify my question. My MSN Passport, which I use to sign in to
MSN
Messenger, is an email address in no way associated with Microsoft (i.e.
[EMAIL PROTECTED]). If "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" is entered into this IM Address
field, will it be recognized as an MSN Passport based on my MSN
Messenger
buddy list, or will it be ignored due to it not ending in hotmail.com or
msn.com?
