On the contrary. That's wrong, Carlington. Test it out, and see for yourself. I have a few MSN "buddies" (contacts), none of whom have hotmail or msn domains, and they all appear with MSN-online-status icons in my Entourage Address Book as soon as I include the correct (MSN-contact) email address in their list of email addresses. What you're describing is about 18 months or so out of date, maybe longer. Anyway, it's good practice to try things out. Do so, and you'll see for yourself.
