Er, I hate to correct Paul here, but Outlook Express 5.02 was the first
version to support SMTP Auth. It came out just in time for us to use it,
after several prominent local employers blocked RIT's mail when we got on
one of the just-then-beginning anti-spam blacklists.

Just some trivia.
