Probably true, but this is *only* a behavior I experience in Entourage (and
that is after applying SP2) -- it never happens in Apple Mail or
Thunderbird, both of which I tried to see if it is a problem with the IMAP
server (it isn't). So, something is going fishy with Entourage's attempted
connections to the server.

Text file attachments are shown at the bottom of the mail using > (or
multiple >'s) as prefixes. These are useless as it is a ton of work to clean
these up. PDF attachments (sometimes) show inline with only the first page
showing and nothing listed under Attachments to download (I am used to the
first page of PDF documents being shown inline as long as the attachment can
be seen for download). The PDF behavior is not constant, but I believe the
text file one is (two emails with attachments had this behavior on two
different Macs; I opened the mail in a windows box and the attachment was
there).
