Title: My three addresses, though still in my address book, are junk to Entourage11.0.0
I formerly had only two Email addresses under my Optimum online high speed Modem.

These two were 1) <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> and 2) <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.

I have recently added an domain name 3) < [EMAIL PROTECTED]>

I can write Email from the Vdeck server of the domain name address, or I can write Email from <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> from within Entourage, which has better fonts and an better layout.  I found, with these three accounts in Entourage that although I could receive mail into the <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> address within Entourage, but I could not send letters form that address (account) within Entourage.

I called Øptimum onlime , the <optonline.net> server, because I believed the problem {i.e., the inability to SEND from the <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> account from within Entourage, was caused some Optimum spam blocker,

The Optimum Tech support man had me simply change the SMTP server designation within the domain account and change it from <mail.johnfquinn.com> to <mail.optonline.net>.

This has allowed me to send letters from the <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> account within Entourage.

But a funny thing has happened since this adjustment.

I can send letters between and among my tree addresses to others of my three addresses, but the sent letters {by one of my ‘selves’ to the other two of my ‘selves’, so to speak} will always arrive back in my Entourage as JUNK Mail.

It is true that the three addresses are linked together in my Entourage address book and that the <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> address is the Default, but these three addresses are still in my Entourage address book.

I thought that adding duplicate addresses, singlely placed into the entourage address book, would disarm the JUNKizing, but it hasn’t . The problem persists.

My mail manager will consider any incoming mail whose sender is not in my Entourage address book
as JUNK and will automatically transfer said mail immediately upon receipt into my JUNK folder.

But my three addresses ARE in my Entourage Address Book.

Vas ist los hier?

It does no good to mark as NOT JUNK the three ‘john’ addresses which erroneously enter the JUNK mail folder. I can mark them as NOT JUNK time after time, it will not solve the problem. The next ‘john’ that comes in will be marked as JUNK and land automatically into the JUNK folder.

Anyway know a way to correct this phenomena, in my Entourage 11.0.0?

Is this some sort of e-x-t-r-a SPAM precaution from optonline.net?

Thanks. I would appreciate any advise re this. I hate to live with such imperfection.

John Quinn
