Title: Re: Two Problems - Address Book and Mail View
I think you’re looking to close the Preview Pane. Go to the “View” menu, then “Preview Pane” and then finally “None”.

Thanks so much, Mickey. The address book command worked fine, but the second command still kept all the e-mail in the right column. The way that I had it previously (full screen), I could move or delete messages without opening them.

When you're addressing the message, click the "Address Book" button (next to
"Check Names").

If you really want the full Address Book, press Command (Apple)-2.

Click the view and then press Command (Apple)-O (the letter "O").
