Thanks for the suggestions. Yes, I have a backup - however I am
very afraid and very careful. i am constantly in fear that I maye
loose what I have if i do anything with Entourage. How will I know if
a rebuild will leave me with the new small address book and nothing
inb the suggestion list?

Hi Peter,
I'm not sure what's going on but it sounds like something happened to your database when it was in the shop. Did you by any chance make a backup of it? If so, switch it out for the current one. If not, try a Rebuild of the current database. If you don't know how to find or rebuild your database, check this page: <http://www.entourage.mvps.org/database/index.html>.

However, in my address bok there are only a very few of my addresses - most of them are gone.
Why are the addresses in my address book gone (and where did they go and how can I get them back) if Entourage can show the addresses when I start a new mail.
Please help ... I miss my full address book.
