One or > the other. I can definitively say that it neither prioritizes by last name or by lower ID - I have two contacts in my address book: the first, transferred from Claris Emailer to Outlook to Entourage, is Vincent Jericho. The other contact was added about a year ago and is Jerry Vincent. Both are in the "Staff" category. It ALWAYS picks Jerry Vincent before Vincent Jericho (If I'm too lazy to arrow down I have to type 10 letters before getting the right person!), meaning that it's neither prioritizing for oldest nor by last name. Perhaps by newest or by first name. And yes, I added a nickname but I frequently forget to use it, since neither of them go by a nickname. -Barbara -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
