It's possible to use something like Prosoft Engineering's Data Rescue II to
recover data that's been emptied from the Trash -- provided you haven't
overwritten it by continuing to use your computer. They do have a demo from
their website that will allow *one* file to be recovered to make sure that
it will work in your situation.
