If you need to be sure all of the Test Drive version is deleted, you can
use the "Remove Office" (232 KB) application found in the Microsoft
Office 2004 folder (Microsoft Office 2004 > Additional Tools > Remove
Office) of the Office that you are trying to install. I don't know if
the Test Drive version has the same application.

CAUTION: I had to use "Remove Office" just recently when I upgraded the
Office 2004 on a Mac Intel iMac to 11.3.3 (we use an Exchange Server
2003 for email for both Windows and Mac users) and every Office 2004
application kept crashing. Since I keep the Office 2004 updates
installer images on a local machine (11.2.5, 11.3.0, and 11.3.2), I was
able to drag and drop our Office 2004 onto the computer, install the
Auto updater update and then the updates through 11.3.2.

I did not see the "Remove Office" application on the Microsoft Mac
download site.

Complete directions are here:

I don't know what happens if you accidentally threw away that folder
without running the uninstaller first!
