In "Accounts" I selected one, clicked "default," and now that account is in bold. Do you mean something else by "default account for that identity"?
Although that identity is in bold, it is not the one that comes up as the return address when I create my first email. It does come up as the return address for subsequent emails (if the first email still exists and has not been sent). That is what is so perplexing. I have shut down Entourage, and even shut down my computer, and the problem continues to exist when Entourage is reopened. I would love anyone's idea of how to fix this.
