It's one of the "new" improvements. ; )
Try this:
tell application "Microsoft Entourage"
display dialog (name of current identity as text)
end tell
A trick I learned was to name the first folder with the Identity name. Don¹t
you just love it when someone leaves out a feature you like because they
don¹t think it¹s useful?
