We didn't remove multiple identities, just did not optimize the design for
them. All we did was change the window title to reflect folders and accounts
rather than identities. There's a number of usability wins as a result (e.g.
Expose and the Windows menu are now useful rather than a repeated list of the
same window title).

Carol, have you ever considered using OS accounts to provide separated access
for folks in your family? In the end, it's a much more secure and private
method for allowing multiple people to use the same computer.

I prefer these messages completely separate. Not in folders in the same

I WANT the three, very separate, identities. This prevents, among other
things, mixing of the address books for each, which NEED to be kept very
separate, due to their different purposes.

I need to keep separate calendars, tasks, projects, and address books for
each identity. These are not "just" separate e-mail addresses; they are
separate functions in my life. The same holds true for the other members of
my family, whom I listed in my original message.

And I WANT (read: NEED!) to know which one I am in, at any given time.
