Thanks, but I'm not using any font software and haven't removed any of them.
I now recall that the affected messages had multiple cc'd recipients on them and assorted "collaborative" replies quoted. I am thinking maybe one of the replies had something in it, maybe? Dunno. I'll have a look at the errors pages and see what's what. Thanks again.
