Ed- I have discovered that there is a hummingbird that is the fastest bird when related to its body length (320 body lengths per unit versus a diving peregrine falcon at 200 body lengths per unit)...

Trees don't move, but that doesn't mean all of the species present in a section of woods are easy to find if you aren't told where to look. Maybe you could not only check the tree off, but would have a column for GPS or girth, so there was something more than just checking it off. ed Check out my new Blog: http://nature-web-network.blogspot.com/ (and click on some of the ads) -- Eastern Native Tree Society http://www.nativetreesociety.org Send email to [email protected] Visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/entstrees?hl=en To unsubscribe send email to [email protected] _________________________________________________________________ Hotmail: Trusted email with powerful SPAM protection. http://clk.atdmt.com/GBL/go/177141665/direct/01/ -- Eastern Native Tree Society http://www.nativetreesociety.org Send email to [email protected] Visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/entstrees?hl=en To unsubscribe send email to [email protected]
