I deeply appreciate your compliments on the measurements. I am indeed using a D 
tape for diameters. It think the 20.6" dbh Sassafras is about 90 years old; a 
similar size Sassafras that was blown down in the same stand over 10 years ago 
was about 90 years old. Slightly smaller Sassafrases in the Wizard of Oz Oak 
Grove have been proven to be from 115-130 or more years old.
