Paul Prior, you are getting riled up over something you have no control
over. You are blatantly advertising for other businesses and making money at
doing so.(You even admitted it!) You, by joining this list agree to follow
the list rules. So follow them. This is a EOS dedicated mailing list and if
the owners of this dedicated list want to cut out advertisements they can do
so. I am thankful for it myself. They can do what ever they want to. They
own it and control it. You joined this list voluntarily and should abide by
all rules.While your sig. does not bother me, it is still wrong. Don't freak
out and get mad over something so easily removed. It makes no sense.
I was lambasted and almost strung up by my ba(($ because I told the list
that I had EOS equipment for sale on eBay. WOW! eBay advertises and they are
a profitable organization. The crap in your signature is pure advertisement
and I could give a damn how many lines it has in it. 4 10 or 100 it is what
it is. I hope that Willem does put a strict filter on this list. It just
makes it nice for all of us. Please dump it and lets get back on track.
One more thing while I am at it. I have mentioned it here before and I
am going to do it again. What Henry Posner does here is wrong wrong wrong
and I do not know why he is allowed to get away with it. If what he does is
not blatant advertisement I'll eat s#!% Tons of his post directly link it to
his place of business. It is constant. He has a direct B&H link in his sig.
for crying out loud! I have read loads of his post and what he does in many
of them is nothing but try to boost B&H's sales and reputation. He seems to
be a nice guy and his contribution to this list is a fine one indeed. I have
even dealt with him myself and he is a good guy. But even still, what is
done is wrong! There can be no denying it either. I can and will go back and
sift through the archives and cut and paste this blatant violation of the
rules.
All I know is that the owners of B&H must sure be happy to have Henry on
this or any other mailing list! I certainly know I would be.
