I've been thinking (for a while already) of finding a second hand bellows
and making my own DIY auto-aperture connection by using 2 kenko extension
tubes, where I'd hack a cable to bring the connections from one to the
other.
Then I'd place (glue, plug, screw, ??) each kenko to either side of the
bellows, having then a custom AutoBellows for my EOS 50.

Does anybody have experiences with this? Will it work?

I'm waiting for the next 2nd Hand market of photo stuff over here. There
I'll be getting the bellows (I hope).

Anything I've to be aware of? Will it work?

Thanks,

Gerard.

BTW: What is a short mount lens? In the book of John Shawn (famous among
junior macroers like me) he speaks about it, but I didn't catch what they
are.
Is short mount = no focus system? (like an enlarger lens)
If I take a lens and I remove the focusing sys. will it become short
mount? (considering that by doing that I leave all glass is its place)
