I just picked up a 7E and gave my son my Elan IIE. The 550 EX says you
can use FR6 AA Lithium batteries, bit the BP-300 for the 7E says not
to. Question, what are FR6 lithium batteries. I have some Energizer AA
Lithium Photo batteries, gold with a red top. Are these FR6 or not. Even
the guys at Samy's photo weren't sure.
Two CR123A batteries cost me about $10.50 at WalMart. When I can find
them, the AA Lithiums run about $10.00 for 4. It seems that 4 AA lithiums
would last longer than 2 CR123A batteries. Anyone know for sure ?
