I haven't used the 20mm prime, but the 20-35 lens finally got me "into" wide
angle lenses. I shot sports and portraits so long I had trouble finding uses
for anything below 50mm, but this lens changed all that. I want to buy the
28-135, but I'm afraid I'll be disappointed by the "long" short end (and I'm
not really hot to need 72mm filters on top of 77's)!

I"m not sure of the Hoya designation, but you will probably want one of the
slim polarizers to avoid vignetting.
