I doubt it, since there's plenty of room between the glass and the edge of
the lens barrel on the front. I think they made it oversized for this
reason.
Hi All,
I have this lens and us it alot and you will get varying vignetting if you
use thicker filters or polarizers like the B+W and Heliopan brands. They
have a thicker ring and vignetting is visible at 20mm but it's only slight.
Hoya's (actually most of the), ultra thin filters are good in this regard
and solve the problem but lack front threads. They are also somewhat more
fragile than the German glass/brass rings.
