Hi All,
You may remember I asked a question about the 65mm Macro lens, well, I am
still interested in getting it, but for now, I have decided to take all your
advise and get the Canon 100mm USM Macro lens. From what I have read in
reviews ( thanks bob ) the Canon 100mm gives the best picture quality.
I have a new question for you all, in the review for the 100mm Macro, it
says it does not come with a Tripod mount or Lens hood.
Could someone explain why I might want a tripod mount for this lens, as I
did not think it was very heavy, so why not just mount the camera ?
Also, as you are very close to your subject, would a lens hood not produce a
shadow ?
Finally, does anyone know if the new Canon Macro Flash will fit on this lens
?
