Ken, I think Bob was using one of those special order EOS 
100000000EX flash units.  They're available at infrequent intervals 
from certain former Soviet Republics.  Oh, and you have to use a 
special order off-camera  flash cord, too:  The OCSC200000.  It's 
about 120 miles long; stretch it all the way out, and stand by the 
camera, not the flash.

The Sultan of Brunei has two,  And Osama bin Laden is reputed to have 
one also.

Bob...How'd you get that backlighting?   Was that another EOS
100000000EX in wireless slave mode?
