You're intrigued and I am confused. Four possibilities including <Canon's 
own> and <Canon>?
Canon made two adapters for mounting FD lenses on EOS bodies -- the "Lens 
Converter FD-EOS-1 f/Long Lenses" which is long discontinued and the Macro 
Lens Mount (Canon # C543831).

Other options include what B&H calls General (or generic) Brand. This is 
not an industry-wide term. This item has a single element to preserve 
infinity focus. i believe this is identical to the Bower

Kenko offers both 1.4x and 2x adapters. They combine the adapter with a 
teleconverter.

OMHO, they're all cumbersome and awkward. There's no mechanical or 
electronic connection from lens to body, all operation is 100% mechanical. 
Unless you have some really esoteric, expensive, unreplaceable lens, why 
bother?
