Did I say when I want that camera to be available? No. I said that I will
make the move when it's available. Or actually at that point I did not
specify that it should have these 3 CMOS sensors - I'll do with the
interpolation technique in the beginning. When that will happen... well
"Life is uncertain." ;-)

But as we're talking about getting better quality from larger sensors,
maybe we should first get the best out of current ones. A camera with 3
sensors has 3 times as much information to work with as camera with just
one sensor. I think this is more important direction at this point than
havin more then 3000x2000 pixels for instance. Well woth the current
technology and prices at least. Which one do you think would be cheaper,
3x6Mpixel sensors and a prism or 1x18Mpixel sensor? And the DFinity
doesn't look that large to me on the images, but I agree currently it
would perhaps not fit into a large EOS body (that's EOS 3/1V + booster) as
there needs to be lots of other stuff there also that are not in the
DFinity.
Another thing.... as we're talking about digital EOS... one thing that I
personally would like to see in the digital EOS is a kind of optional
(even very low resolution) digital viewfinder that would show the scene
continuously like RT and RS. So when you are panning, you switch it on
and... we'll it would help my panning a lot! But I would not want it on at
all times (if for no other reason, then to save batteries.)

Best regards,
        Hugo.
