I just checked the Elan 7 manual (we *are* talking about the 7, right?), and
it says:
"During film rewind, pressing the midroll rewind button toggles between
high-speed and low-speed (silent) rewind."
(If we're not talking about the Elan 7, then don't mind me. ^_^)
