If it works the same as with the 1n then if you press
the midroll rewind button after the film is rewound
(with leader out) the film leader goes into the roll
(complete rewind).
A comment to a previous email (from you?). You did a
(midroll) rewind with leader out. The you opened the
door and closed it again. The reason why the camera
started winding is because it thought a new film is
the camera which it tried to advance to the first
frame. Since you did not pull the leader out enough it
was not able to load it. That is why it showed a
blinking roll on the display. Since the film was still
at the same position there was nothing to worry when
opening the camera back again.
Maybe instead of just trying things out it would be
wiser to study the manual. That way you really know
what happens when you do this or that. In addition you
will also find features that you have not been aware
of before. So even if the camera is very intuitive and
most things can be figured out without the manual it
still is wise to read it.
