Hello Pierre,

Maybe not "strange", but rather, it would seem to be "consistent"
across the EOS line.

Your type A camera will also refuse to set faster than X-sync limit
when you use TTL flash (like the popup flash) or A-TTL flash.

And a type B camera will not go beyond the X-sync limit when an EOS
compatible flash is detected in the hotshoe.
