I use a microfiber cloth, breathing on the lens first. Then, if
necessary, I use a Hama lenspen to do the rest.

Besides a blower brush, no safe idea. The coating on UV filters (or any
filters) is usually more easily damaged than a modern lens coating. So
be careful. I find it's much easier to clean my front lenses than my
filters. Then again, the filters cost a little less.
