Maybe you all should take a good look at your lenses. I use a 10X loupe
to examine the front and rear surfaces of my lenses. You'll be surprised to
find smudges and generally smog film on the surface that need cleaning more
often than you think. It does make a big difference. Maybe that's why so
many people think their cheap consumer lens is no good? Maybe people clean
an L lens more often cause they think it matters?
