I need a camera bag to carry my camera (Elan 7E) with a long lens (100-400)
attached, in the field, so it's not around my neck all the time.
It needs to be more than 10 3/8 inches deep, and the camera must be easily
accessible. I will also carry one or two lenses (28-135 and 20/2.8) and
film and filters in this bag.
My Mini Trekker (which I like very much) is useless for this, because I
have to take it off my back every time I want to access the camera.
I've seen these, but only in catalogs:
LowePro Topload Zoom Pro AW
Lowepro S&F Specialist 85AW
Both seem very interesting, as they're deep and easily opened.
Have any of you used these (or other bags) that could be suitable for me?
Would I be better off carrying the Mini Trekker on my back and a small (but
deep) bag on the side with only the camera and long lens?
