I was looking for a bag to easily carry my 100-400/4.5-5.6L IS Lens
attached to my Elan 7e camera in the field, and after receiving
recommendations from this group, finally decided to go for the Lowepro Pro
Mag 2 AW, and I must say I'm extremely happy with my choice.
My camera-lens combination fits this bag perfectly, and will even fit
(tighter) with the Canon 1.4x TC. What I like is that the lens touches the
bottom of the bag at all times and is therefore not supported by the
camera's lens mount.
A real nice and roomy bag. It also carries my 28-135 and 20/2.8 lenses,
lens hoods, and also my 420EX flash, with lots of film and filters.
Also very comfortable to carry fully loaded thanks to the included belt
that puts most of the weight on the hips, and also keeps it steady.
