Is there a rationale for the prevalent lack of DOF scales on "modern"
lenses? Not having seen a lot of multi-thousand dollar lenses, maybe
it has become a high-end feature, but I can't see why that would be.
All my old FD lenses had them, and I'm curious what folks'
understanding about this is.
