I'll second George's comments about the lens, although
I've not used it with the Kenko Pro. If anything, the
lens is marginally sharper than the 70-200 L,
especially at the corners. And I recall Canon at one
time saying it was the fastest focusing non-USM lens
available. I remember comparing it to the 70-200 2.8
USM and not being able to detect any obvious,
consistent difference in focus speed. (That was with
an Elan IIe--the difference might be more noticeable
on a 1n, 1v or 3).
I traded mine for a 70-200 ONLY so I could use the
Canon TC. Had the Kenko pro been available then, I
might not have bothered.
