Who is that "other" professional brand? Tamron, Tokina, Sigma, Promaster,
Quantaray? Exacta, Phoenix, Cosina, Vivitar?
I've often thought about the Tokina 28-70/80 2.6/2.8, but I've never really
heard a truly convincing testimony in it's favor compared to the Canon
equivalent, which I COULD afford but it would be a stretch.
